"We had a fantastic time at Inglenook Cottage. There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didn’t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didn’t find that a trouble at all. One of the best I’ve stayed in."

"The cottage was fully equipped and warm and cosy. The village is very quaint with very friendly people. We loved the heritage museum. Coffee was to die for. Would like to return. "

"House not cleaned properly, plug socket in middle bedroom hanging off wall, tv aerial cables hanging out wall in kitchen at fridge,leaking radiator in kitchen - reported to owner/management company on day 1 of holiday - no response. Had to put newspapers down to dry floor up, wall crumbling in corner of kitchen, paint flaking off numerous walls & in poor state of decoration. Have stayed in many holiday cottages which were all of much better standard - I would not recommend this cottage."

"Would definitely recommend this place, it was really clean and was lovely inside. The views from the cottage were superb too. We explored the Dales and one day we ventured over to the Lakes too. There is a stunning waterfall called Gastack Beck Waterfall about a 3km walk away from the cottage which was really special to visit. We had a brilliant stay in Ivy cottage."
