「Location was ideal for our trip - easy to find and large car park. The building looks very impressive externally and the inside was just stunning. The decor and surrounding give the place a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at reception and made to feel very welcome. The room was outstanding - plenty of room and the bathroom was unbelievable - everything was so clean and comfortable. Had a lovely meal in the evening - first class and excellent portion size - cooked to perfection for...

「This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

「2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. 」

「Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!」
