“There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.”

“I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The property was a little dated but clean and well-maintained. It wasn’t right in the middle of town, but a comfortable walk away. Breakfast was lovely. It was table service, and the ladies who served breakfast were absolutely the best. The wi-fi was quite patchy.”

“Lovely property in an ideal location to walk and explore Whitby. Very clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking bits and pieces. Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. “We ended up staying one night of the three that we booked. This was primarily because the moment we arrived at the place we discovered the pets weren’t allowed anywhere beyond the ground floor and, if they were “well behaved” into the kitchen area. This accommodation can only be described as pet tolerant and not pet friendly.”

Location is nice and central and ideal to explore the local coastline. Really felt like a home from home. Will definitely use again and cannot recommend enough. ”
