"WE LOVED THE GARLAND. Seriously tho how cute is this place! Tbh I was a little worried when I booked it because “retro” when describing a hotel is sketchy but this place was amazing. So clean, inviting, and felt like a resort! All the staff were super nice and helpful and the trolley to universal was a big bonus. We’ve stayed in all sorts of hotels in LA and this is my new favourite! The only thing that was a small mark against it was the shower water pressure. As someone with big thick hair it was a chore to wash. But it’s such a minor and common problem it’s easily overlooked! "

"Coffee in the a.m. Margaritas at happy hour. Natually favored water all day. Great pool and deck area with towels. Music at night. Luggage storage. Greeters. Friendly staff. Great decor throughout. Comfortable beds. Bathrobes. Wide curb for vehicle pickup. SCORE!!"

"Very clean! Great environment & close to the walk of fame without the noise. Rooms are small but very comfortable bed & nice bathroom. My only criticism is the lights beside the bed should not be yellow it’s not Great at night. Just a preference "
