「This was our group's third year at this property and we'll certainly be back for a fourth. Our kids had a blast fishing and swimming right off the dock, water is deep and clear. The house is great for families with our kids taking over the loft. Hot tub is a great bonus. 」

「It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the...

「We had the most amazing time at Chuck and Sherry's. Our family will cherish their memories on the lake (the pontoon was an absolute blast), on the dock catching fish after fish, and watching the sun set over the beautiful lakefront view. They were amazing hosts - available whenever needed but leaving us to enjoy our stay as well. Getting to see some awesome horses was just icing on the cake. We're already booked up for a return next summer and can't wait. 」

「The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean, ready to go. As a heads up, you do share the stairs down to the docks with the twin cabin that is next to you. Not a big deal for us at all. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock (launch is on Gunlock lake and you have a little, shallow, channel you'll need to go through to get to Shishebogama), which was super nice..」

「Excellent overall, just as described in listing and other reviews. Great communication. We loved the deck, used the kayaks and grill and enjoyed the shared community park/picnic space. Neighboring properties are close but everyone was friendly, respectful, and the trees and lake still felt secluded. 」

「Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing.」
