"The property is dated . We had a family room it did the job for what we were staying for at eastern creek raceway. Kids didn’t like the pool they said it was a bit grubby."

"POSITIVES: *Front Desk Jason and the manager’s attitude upon check-in: They were very considerate and helpful. Jason in particular was very apologetic when I had to clean and sweep up all the dirt, lint and hair in the room. See further info below. *Funky ceiling and bed frame ambient lighting that could change colour. *Modern appointments generally *Crisp, clean sheets & towels NEGATIVES: *When I checked-in & saw the room it was extremely dirty. Floors had wads & wads of hair, debris, lint, dirt. Called Jason to come by w/ a vac & he said they didn’t have one!! So, Jason came up w/ a small pan & brush!! Astonishing!! He proceeded to sweep up all the hair & dirt but clearly had never done this before, so I asked to have the pan & brush & I proceeded to go down on my haunches & sweep up all this disgusting hair and dirt at 10:30pm! Exactly what I had to do at another property recently! This is hospitality! Cleanliness is paramount people!! *This room hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. When Jason left, I continued the process with tissues, it was never-ending, disgusting. *Had to deal w/ a cockroach in the middle of the night as well near the bed! *There were strange particles—looked like dried-up food particles—in the crevice between the wall / bed head!! Vile!! *Stale cigarette smell was exacerbated when the aircon was turned on. *Nil bug screen on window. *The window outlook was like a prison vestibule. *Patio furniture in the room! *Shower alternator didn't work."

"Even though the pool is heated, it'll take a couple of laps to get past the initial cooler temperature of the pool. No fault to the venue, but beware of families with large number of children as when we were there, the kids were constantly yelling, jumping and diving into the pool while other patrons were trying to swim. One of them even took a hose and started spraying their siblings. Also, unluckily on the day of check-in, they experienced a nation-wide computer outage so no one could check-in for around an hour."

"Positives: *Registration process was very simple & not at all intrusive. *The view from the room was lovely: overlooked the golf course green & swimming pool. *The size of the room and bathroom was very comfortable. *Front desk person Peter’s mood the next day. Seemed in better spirits. *Was given an 11:00 am check-out but… Negatives: *Was greeted by Peter at front desk who seemed annoyed and irritated – perhaps not having a good day. *The room smelled like stale cigarette & when the aircon was turned on it exacerbated the terrible smell. *The aircon & filters need cleaning / changing. *Peter did provide an 11:00 am check-out but forgot to let house-keeping know… *The room looked nothing like the photo on Expedia. *Hotel hasn’t been well-maintained, cleaned or cared for. *They have indicatively NOT mopped or scrubbed the tiled area in the hallway, bathroom & shower for many, many years. The colour difference between high traffic areas & areas not utilised, is very obvious. *The fly screen mesh in the window panel was torn away. *The door chain was old and rusty & the door handle had been replaced but it was a shabby job on an old door. *Mattress & pillows way too soft, unsupportive & uncomfortable. "
