「All ok room very good and clean breakfastgood」

「The room was clean enough but the shower room had streaks down the paint and signs of mildew. There was some discarded cigarettes by our bedroom door that a previous occupant must have left but housekeeping never removed them before or during our stay. 「Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel could do with some TLC. Last stayed in a lovely quirky room, latest stay was disappointing as the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment. Rooms are clean and comfortable just a little tired looking.」
