"We were up in Pomfret for a wedding in the area. Perfect location for us; walkable to a local cafe (Vanilla Bean) for breakfast. The place sits on a large piece of property complete with pond; beautiful setting, very peaceful. Plenty of space for parking; water pressure was great for showers and appreciate the travel size lotions, shampoo, etc ! Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend, especially for parents of students who attend The Pomfret School (boarding). Perfect location...

"This hotel has great activities for all ages. They provided a table where painting supplies, they have a ping pong table and pool table, as well as board games. The hotel has a selection of craft beer and food. The breakfast is continental which was yummy, coffee, and juice. Really enjoyed the stay."

"The hotel is very nice and we love the art deco style. The staff was helpful for the most part but there was frequently nobody at the front desk. Also, I was charged in advance instead of upon arrival, which is what I requested. It wouldn’t have been a big deal except that I had hoped to pay with a card other than the one I reserved with. I only reserved with it because I couldn’t find the other at the time and I didn’t want to lose out on the deal. Thank you."

"Very good value except I would expect free coffee in the am other than the room coffee maker. Also Breakfast bar and restaurant option was expensive. Location is not to good for walking to transportation. We had a minor problem with message service flashing lights at night and we had to deal with it after lights out but I'll give them a pass on that one as we should have figured that out."

"I wish I knew to check this place for a pool, I'm sure it would have been amazing! It's so cool this is one of those hotels that lays over the freeway, I've never seen anything like it but it's a first for me in Boston. Well this isn't Boston, it's Newton but it was relatively close to the airport and nice for a one night stay before we went over to downtown for our conference stay. It was spacious, well lit, the staff were always friendly and helpful and I love all the water coolers and machines around the building that do not just dispense hot water, but sparkling! There isn't much to do in this area, but we just needed to relax for one night before our week in downtown for a conference so this was the perfect, relaxing kick off."
