The souvenir shop gifts were diverse and unique. The dinner, breakfast and drum show was top-notch. The onsens were huge and gorgeous. "5 of us stayed here for 5 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our time here! First of all, we would like to give a big thanks to all of the service staff. They have been nothing but great! Most of them speak simple english and even when they did not understand, they had a translator phone to communicate with us. There was this one time we had to contact our car rental company to request for extension. Instead of lending us the phone, the service staff actually went the extra mile and helped us in translating our query to the car rental company! We were so thankful for him and I regret not asking for his name. As for the villa itself, it was great! Nicely decorated and clean. We went during Spring so the temperature did drop to about 2-5 degrees in the morning/night. But the villa was comfortable as the A/C has both cooling and warmth function. Everything was well provided, from toiletries, towels, robes to cutleries, pans, microwave, bbq related stuff etc. There is no washing machine though, so we had to drive out to the laundromat (about 10mins away?). And the most important part, it has the perfect unblocked view of Mt Fuji! Location was ok, if you are not driving, it is about 10-15mins walk to the nearest 7-11 / restaurant. It is best to drive in Fuji in my opinion. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to those who are still deciding on this place.. JUST BOOK IT!"

"The hotel was so beautiful and the attention to detail was great. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything. They also spoke English. We were given yukatas to wear and they were really pretty. The food was amazing, everything was really fresh. The in room bath had amazing views to Mt. Fuji and was relaxing. They also have a shuttle that picks you up from Kawaguchiko station at 8, 8:30 9 and 10 am. We ended up taking a taxi from the station to the hotel but we took the shuttle back to the station and it was comfortable and fast. I don't recommend walking to the hotel from the station because there are no side walks in the town and the cars pass really close to pedestrians. Overall, a great and highly recommended experience and place to stay!"
