A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. 」

「Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said it’s in his top 5 hotels in the world. 」

「This place was great! We were having trouble getting in and our host immediately responded to our call and walked us through the process. Once inside, we found a spotless apartment with super comfortable beds. Showers were great, as was the washer/dryer for our clothes. Having a FREE parking space was really nice, too. The place was really close to all of the main attractions of York, as well. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to see. 」
