Contactless check-in felt cold and unwelcoming. Room was very small for a premier King, but it was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Limited space for two large suitcases. Also no welcome drink provided as promised (we're Rydges card members). Tv had no streaming only guest app login only, despite their home page advertising inhouse movies. Not even the maintenance man knew about the latter. Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful when we approached them about queries. Cocktail bar was closed on Saturday night (we stayed Thurs - Mon). The best thing about the hotel was it's close proximity to all the tourist spots, being walkable distances and close to transport. Our room view was bleak (a building directly across and street below). Maybe show this on the advertised photos? Gym facilities were apparently a shared use of an "Anytime Fitness" gym just around the corner. We never found this gym. Staff didn't ask how our stay was when we checked out, instead just demanded our room number, and that was it. The shower door in our bathroom squeaked every time you opened and closed it. The housekeeping was very good. Overall I was disappointed with this hotel experience. I probably wouldn't stay here in future, despite it's fantastic location.

Great place to stay.very convientant location

We stayed in a studio room with a balcony however the balcony was not accessible due to construction and debris covering the balcony- balcony doors were kept locked so no way of opening for fresh air and room smelt a little musty, we weren’t informed of this prior to check in. Curtains were badly stained and finger marks on kitchen cupboard handles. The bed was quite hard and mattress too big for ensemble base, bottom was hanging over the base. Was very upset with housekeeping banging on our door early morning waking us up. When mentioned on check out staff said that was because they thought we had checked out?! Would not stay here again.

We were welcomed by Emily at Front of House who was so helpful. She gave us great recommendations and really made us welcome. My only disappointment was due to booking through Expedia only 1 breakfast was included whereas if we had booked direct both guests would receive breakfast. Otherwise the stay was ideal. The area is great, 10 minute walk to most places, circular quay, the rocks, old sydney, the shopping area in Pitt Street.

I think the hotel is run down, needs an upgrade and is very expensive for what it offers. I will not be staying again
