Unique property by the sea. Basic needs met plus breakfast. My go to place ☺️

We paid for the upgrade we received $1,300 for the vip section of the hotel on the first floor beach walk out with patio and hammock.. this room had no air conditioning they worked on it until about 1 am. 1st day wasted on moving from room to room and slept in 82degrees. Second day we finally got moved 3 doors down. The temp was 72 and kept climbing into the day. They worked on it until midnight same guys same issues as the other room. Slept in 82 degrees again. Finally got moved again the 3rd day to a new room 3rd floor lost beach access and hammock… price still the same of course. But we did have air. In these moves we moved ourselves twice and they moved us twice. We had to go to public relations every time they never came to us until Hensley got involved. She was the last person we had to deal with. She communicated well. She verified that the room had air before we were moved there and she had our luggage’s moved. We agreed on free couples massage 50 min and 2 days of the upgrade money back. After all of the moving we were finally able to start our vacation on the 3rd day. They were more concerned with the palace presentation for travel than our comfort. The place was outdated and not worth what we paid. The crowd there is a more party crowd not our vibe we went to relax which is why we paid extra to be on the quiet side of the resort. We will not stay at this facility again.

Beautiful property! Not too many people so very relaxing stay. Nice hotel rooms however many things that were asked to be fixed were not fixed. For example, the shower head broke off night one and was not fixed even after multiple asks. Staff was nice, however seemed more “tip driven” and as if they did not want to have to be nice to us. Best part of the trip was the views, clean beaches, and the food!

This hotel is always fun and delightful. A few departments are still out standing eg, entertainment staff is amazing concierge fabulous. The jerk center staff is not the best cassita in the Japanese restaurant is just wonderful, Johanna in entertainment lights up any situation and this older lady that is always cleaning the are near the main buffet could teach house keeping a lot like how to clean. The food needs to be better it wasn't good this time around too much off the same thing every day and most of the meat are way too overdone. First time at a Couples resort and we loved it. The food was great, the staff were welcoming, and the grounds are beautiful. We will definitely return in the future.
