“Arranged return airport pickup with hotel and Driver was late for pickup from airport (5 mins late) and hotel (15 mins late). Asked for a room change as the floor were full of painting work going on the receptionist on duty was supposed to get back after checking with room reservation dept but never got back. Overall the service provided by front desk was not pleasant at all. I stayed for five nights and the room was arranged in a noisy location wit construction site in front n painting work……

“The hotel has re-opened in 2024, so older reviews are not really relevant any longer in many regards. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The reception is open 24 hours, it was no issue at all that we arrived rather late (22:30). The rooms are really ok (this is a 3 star hotel): expect on-wall wiring and a rather small bathroom/shower, but everything was very clean. Our economy room had a balcony with sea view to the side. English breakfast was great, with made to order coffee, and……

“BLOCK hotel is simply lovely. Cosy base for Gozo. Quiet in winter months but wonderful scenery. South west Gozo has stunning cliffs and walks. Victoria the capital is nearby with buses thence to the whole island. I had the most relaxing time. Room was quiet, no window but not needed as only slept there. Food was amazing and barman and waitress charming. Live entertainment Thu-Sunday and a real hub for divers, if that is what you are into (Not me but seemed like a super professional set up).……
