"Nice hotel, good location for Penrith town center. Only issue was reduced car parking on day off arrival due to car park being used as a car event"

"What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! "

"Lovely garden at the rear, rooms a good size and everywhere clean. Staff very friendly and the food was great and a good selection. Dog friendly and no issues. Will definitely be going back. Also 5 min stroll into Grassmere village so a perfect location. "

"Amazing stay. We stayed here to attend a wedding. The organisation of the wedding was fabulous, along with the well trained, friendly staff. Beautiful venue. We also celebrated our wedding anniversary on the first night of our stay and was presented with a bottle of pink Prosecco whilst we were having our meal. Lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend."

"Overall was great, only downside was my room was on top of the restaurant which caused some noise, also the pillows in the room wasn’t great but everything else was fantastic. "

"Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in. The TV kept freezing and you could turn the Tv over with the remote control. The The breakfast was nice."
