"We loved our stay at Lucerne. The hotel was older and rooms smaller, but clean and comfortable. It was extremely close to the Subway, with a Banksy on the short walk to enjoy. Many wonderful dining options nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the price reasonable. We will absolutely stay there again!"

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Very good. First it's location next to Lincoln Center is great. We got the handicapped room we needed. Appreciated spacious layout of the room and bathroom. The room was clean, we could open a window and the heat/ac worked continuously to provide a constant temperature and air quality. The darkness of the halls and lobby take a bit of getting used to but once in the room or outside there's plenty of light. "
