「This stay was very disappoining compared to my previous stay. Our room door didn't properly close. So you have to remember to push or pull it. Paint peeling off wall near sink. Shower door didn't close. We spent two days without hot water and was told everything was fine. Food was so blah.. Same thing every day for breakfast. I paid for private dinner」

「Our experience here was unfortunately not what we expected. Although most of the staff were beyond helpful and kind, the property itself (although advertised as) is not handicap AT ALL. When booking I requested that my Father be assisted with handicap accessibilities. When checking in they informed me his room was on the third floor with no elevator, then charged me to “upgrade” to the first floor. There are no elevators. No golf carts for walking. Steps are everywhere including multiple trip...

「Some equipment is old」

「Keep up the great work」

「Absolutely loved my stay and the staff was wonderful」

「I liked everything! Freendly staff, the beach a paradise. I will come again!」

「The overall of the hotel is very good. They have a team of very friendly staffs and you will enjoy the stay there with them. The hotel is just in front of the beach that after you breakfast, you can immediately walk into the beach in seconds to enjoy the sun.」

「Beautiful property and excellent staff.」

「Rooms arw very spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff are super friendly and helpful. Everyone made me feel very welcome and safe. Thanks all, I highly recommend this place and will be returning.」

「Beautiful property and excellent staff!」

「I stayed there twice in about 2 months, everything about it is perfect; location, beachfront, staff, room was clean with daily housekeeping if you want it, the food at their restaurant is great. They have a sister property on the cliffs, so you can go there too to relax. I love Negril and I love Charela. I will stay there over and over.」

「An absolutely stellar property. You feel so at home and comfortable. Thank you for everything. I will be back.」

「My wife and I stayed at the Grand Lido for a week, Sept 15 - 22. We have been there over 15 times in the past. So sorry to learn of the destruction in late Oct 2025 from Hurricane Mellisa. The country and resorts are still getting back to normal. Understanding that our resort was still healing, we gave special leniency to the conditions and service. Our Butler service was excellent! Our room was clean and well stocked. The restaurants were not quite up to par with prior visits, but.... ...
