There was only one paper cup in the room for 2 guests. The bathtub was so stained it looked like it had not been cleaned. “Right off the start, the front staff was inapt! Upon arriving at the room, the bath was not Senior (old folks) friendly! The dam toilet was on the floor. Thankfully, there was a grab bar at the toilet. But if you are aged, it takes some strength to rise from the toilet! The lower you are to the dam floor, the harder it is to rise! The TV was rigged to a minimum volume. After two (2) replacement remotes, the volume could not be adjusted to acceptable level, Coffee cream and facial tissue had not……

“The staff is very friendly and informative. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool had privacy from the road and surrounding businesses. Towels and pool noodles were provided by the hotel. I don’t think the pool was heated which didn’t bother my granddaughter in the least but us older folks found it too chilly to completely enjoy. “The staff here was fantastic, the location was excellent to shopping and restaurants and very easy to get to, but the hotel is just in need of refresh, smelly dirty carpet in room, paint and furniture showed extreme wear and tear. The morning breakfast was good, if you do not go early though, the seating is limited but nice and comfortable. Only one elevator was working at the time of stay, graduation weekend here, so extremely busy, took a while to get downstairs every time. Pool was not up and……

“This was my 2nd time staying there in 6 months. The staff is always friendly. Check in was easy. And the rooms are clean. No, issues. Unfortunately, the parent company has failed to invest in the property. The carpet, wallpaper and fixtures are over 50+ years old. There is a smell from age and the property is truly outdated. “I will most definitely be staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay and wished this trip was longer. First off the breakfast was amazing. My kids really enjoyed the food. Secondly the pool was the highlight of my kids trip. They wanted to be in there the minute it opened at 10am. Staff was very kind and courteous. Lori was awesome and (I forgot his name) he’s Jamaican and he helped cleaning the pool was very kind. I’ll definitely be back here for a longer stay.”
