At 5.18am the sun is breaking over the horizon. There is nowhere to gat a coffee and a bacon sandwich unless you drive south to Montrose and the Greggs the bakers opens at 7am. Bring a flask as the breeze of the north sea is bloody freezing in April, The Castle doesn't open until 10am, Built in the 1400's it played a major role in the Jacobite uprisings of the 1715 and 1745.
