「The inn is a unique place, in a pleasant way. The owners are wonderful at making you feel at home in their establishment. It's homey with its small, clean rooms. Our room had a private bathroom and a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious, everything is made from scratch, the ingredients are obviously fresh and locally sourced (I had forgotten what real eggs taste like). The dinner at the restaurant below was also memorable. We highly recommend this place.」

「Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros...

「Linda, the owner, was gracious and very accommodating. The room we had was very sweet, and the adjourning bathroom was large and had everything you’d need. We woke up to a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry muffins, fresh yogurt with cream and berries and a hard boiled egg. She made a lovely presentation and really delicious muffins! Highly recommend Clary Lake as a great place to stay in the area. 」

「GORGEOUS property, beautifully maintained and cozy rooms. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend a sleep mask and maybe some foam earplugs, but experiencing this place is well worth it. Jersey takes care to include and highlight local businesses, and very clearly loves what he does. We will absolutely be staying here again. 」

「This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!」
