“My Mom and I stayed at the Surfsand Resort over Mothers Day weekend. Overall a very nice place to stay. Staff is wonderful and amenities very nice. My only issue was our ocean view room. We stayed in the Northern most building and the hedge/bushes were totally blocking any view towards the North and the building to the south was located much further out than ours so there was no view toward the South. The view straight out was good (some bushes blocking the beach view). We were on the first……

“It was an ok hotel but beds are freaking awful, none of us got decent sleep because we were so uncomfortable. Also the room was a tad small, if someone wanted to get to the other side of room we all had to shuffle around to get out of the way. They have a distillery onsite that doesn't sell drinks but does tastings which was a letdown. There is a bar on the 4th floor but just seems like a journey to get there if you're on the other side of the property. It's a great location though, right……

“Absolutely brilliant location! Beautiful sunset. Loved the chairs on the pier with the seals just below. The room was spacious, huge bathroom and very comfy bed. Very clean and unique amenities. Sauna was a great way to end the evening. Would 100% recommend and hope to visit again.”

“The breakfast options were delicious with something for everyone. I enjoyed the complimentary use of their bike to ride along the waterfront and returning for fresh hot cookies and milk each evening was the cherry on top!”

“The condo is very outdated. Multiple stains on the carpet and stale smelling. But for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with incredible ocean view this was worth the money! ”

“Finishing quality is very low and while they are clearly maintaining the property. Just ok, seems to be good enough for them. Restaurant on site was horrible. But the beach view from the room was amazing. Loved the jetted tub in the room and the spa servwas great. There's nothing really wrong with the property but for the price, i will definitely be staying elsewhere next time. Most places at this price are well appointed and finished very nicely to give a luxury feel. This is more like a budget……

“Everything was first rate, from the linens, to the bed, to the home itself, to the delicious breakfasts, to the game room in the basement, and especially the friendliness of Candy and Ken. You will not be dissapointed. They also own the "Salty Dog" fishing charter boat if that's on your agenda.”
