「The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We didn't get chance to use the pool so can't comment on those facilities but what we could see from the window looked good. There was air conditioning in the restaurant but not in our room so that made the room quite hot and stuffy even with the window open. However, there was a fan in the room and that did help a little. 「The exterior of the building is wonderful along with the grounds. The interior however is extremely run down and our first room We were given smelt damp and had to be moved to a better room but still then extremely basic and cleaning standard not great. Not helped also by the fact they only offer housekeeping every 3 days. Hotel with huge potential but not being looked after and requires urgent attention would not recommend anyone to stay there」

「The room had everything we needed, and we managed to get extra coffee when we required it. The staff were very helpful and made our visit run smoothly. For our stay, the air conditioning in the room was a bonus, as it was during a very hot spell. We didn't watch the TV, but it looked to have everything you might need on there. 「We stayed one night and the experience was outstanding. The rooms were very quiet and the shower was amazing. I could hardly fault anything. Maybe a bit of air conditioning in the rooms would be good during the hot days but they supplied fans to help. I would definitely use this hotel again as they are amazing and provide a great service in all respects.」
