「Rent och städat på rummet men badrummet var lite sunkigt. En glashylla på väggen höll på att trilla ner vid användandet, ena väggfästet satt helt löst, så hyllan tog vi ner. Väldigt smala och korta sängar. God frukost!」

「Lovely inn along a beautiful river. Arrived late due to car troubles. Kitchen was closed and owner graciously offered to make something, which we very much appreciated. Volunteered to help with our tire issue but in the end rental car company sent some one. Would recommend to anyone.」

「The Art Bank is the perfect place to stay in Dalbeattie. It’s unique with its colourful rooms and selection of art. The breakfasts are incredible and Mandy/Ange make you feel welcome. Doggy friendly too. We look forward to our next visit.」

「The landlady was lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had was good too. The menu is very extensive and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly and the service was good. The rooms were not clean, smelly and tired. The bathroom was not clean. We didn’t complain because we were staying with friends and they booked the accommodation. So we didn’t want to cause any upset for them. A mixed review really. We understand that the owners are new, so let’s hope that they do a good...

「This reservation was only partially completed. Left quietly. One small bedroom with a macerating toilet. Personal space minimal and expectations of hosts seemed family-like. Not a comfortable situation for me.」

「Charming cottage style flat well decorated with interesting local art and great views out to the harbour and castle. TV a bit tricky to set up for local news and difficult to remove subtitles on bbc iPlayer. Bathroom a bit cold at times and not on same floor as bedroom and lounge. In need of some painting to upgrade. Otherwise very convenient for all amenities.」
