"Loved our stay. Was the perfect spot, quite enough away from the old town but very accessible when you wanted to go in. There are steps down to the old town so not good if your bad on your feet. Sometimes we got a taxi back and it was only 3 euros, bargain. I would definitely recommend. "

"Perfect place for family three nights away with teenagers.We spent most of the days at the pool by the Casa Azul, lovely breeze, never busy, and handy snack bar for drinks and food right there. Its a little hilly so prob not the best for anyone with mobility issues. Ate breakfast both mornings at the Alfarroba restaurant. (Tip: ordering off the a la carte menu is better value than the buffet but that nay have been because we got the buffet one day as it seemed to be finishing up). Mini market on the site stocks anything you need. Kids played mini golf one evening. The resort is not really walking distance to anything in the heat…maybe had it been cooler and we were there longer, we would have attempted to walk to old town. Ubers were about 6-8 euro into the old town or the strip and were easy enough to get- no waiting. We booked a three bed apartment that was in great condition but had slight sign of wear and tear, mainly with the light in the bathroom not staying on and one plug socket that had come away from the wall. Apartment had everything you could possibly need (washer, ironing board, good kitchen with dishwasher). Bathrooms seemed pretty new and shower had great water pressure. It was advertised as having one bathroom but when we got there, there were two which was a pleasant surprise with 5 people! Tip 2: We ordered groceries and food via Uber eats since it was late when we got there. Overall I was delighted with our time here and the facilities- perfect for us! "
"Our stay at Kimpton Atlântico Algarve was incredible. Our room looked brand new and the garden view was stunning. The staff were very accommodating and the service was amazing. The amenities this hotel offered were incredible as well. If you are looking for a relaxing 5 star hotel holiday, this is the right place. We would definitely come back! "
"Five star property geared towards adults, lives up to its reputation of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury. The grounds are beautifully maintained and well landscaped. There are 6 outdoor swimming pools with an abundance of lounge chairs, umbrellas and daybeds- no need to reserve. Beach access with a lovely boardwalk from the hotel to the beach. The hotel has been renovated and is exceptionally clean. The only improvement would be the restaurant service. Though the food was very good, the service was extremely slow and unorganized. I would highly recommend. Lovely friendly staff. "
"We would highly recommend this hotel. We arrived earlier than check in time; they allowed us to use their amenities and pool while they readied a room. They upgraded our room to a better view. The pool was beautiful, clean, and refreshing. Though it was full, we could always find a place to sit. Staff were super friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast was typical of most hotels offering fresh fruit, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and granola. The surrounding area was full of places to eat and the hotel was walkable to the beach and tourist attractions. Parking was readily available at the hotel. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Our biggest complaint was the shower which had a tub that was hard to get in/out of and had a small shower. "

"We had a fabulous holiday at Sara's family villa and I could not recommend it highly enough for an Algarve retreat. Sara was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble for her. Ideally located to see all parts of the beautiful Algarve cost and we had lots of fun at the annual Guia Frango Festival. Most evenings were spent on the balcony enjoying the beautiful sun sets. A fabulous trip and a wonderful property. "
