「Air conditioning was on point as the temperature rose to over 100. The Staff was amazing. Rooms were nice and clean with very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Location is close to restaurants and stores. Breakfast was okay and filling.」

But the maintenance man we ran into believe his name was Carlos my 1st encounter was watching him go and get juice offering to pour it for some staff that were having breakfast before their day started. 「This is a beautiful historic mansion in a safe and convenient location. From previous reviews, I mistakenly thought it was more of a bed and breakfast, as I had read what a magnificent breakfast they served. It was a big reason I chose this accommodation. The breakfast is similar to what you might expect at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. That said, the room was beautiful, spotless, and well-appointed and the owner was absolutely lovely and helpful and genuinely interested in his guests.」

「The rooms are not clean. Carpet is old and dirty. Tub had yellow tint on the bottom of tub. Window was broken all the way and taped together. Huge spider webs in the room. The three days we were there they didn’t clean the room, change the sheets or anything. They half made the bed and I had to have them change the sheets when we got there because the sheets had a urine stain on them. The refrigerator hums all night.
