“We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and nice, though there was a strong perfume scent. The pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great. The bonfires with s'mores supplies provided were awesome. The only thing is that the beach is not swimmable and there is no beach where you can walk to the water. There's huge boulders that separate the upper part and lower part of the beach, but the part by the water is mucky and muddy and not crossable. Otherwise, great stay. Would stay again. ”

“I was here for a class reunion. The property is showing it's age. I came through here 40 yrs. ago when it was new but everything worked and the staff is excellent. When I was leaving, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, especially the coffee with a great variety. Keep it up.”

“We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this charming motel. The owner is very responsive to needs and the room was great. Nicely decorated, very convenient, lots of parking, near to many attractions in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room is air conditioned and very nice.”

“This is our 2nd stay at the Terrace Inn and we stayed for 3 nights this time—we love historic hotels and this one does not disappoint. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is wonderful, make sure to have the whitefish! Sitting on the front porch is great and relaxing. The only slight disappointment is breakfast, choices are limited and it doesn’t vary much…while we were there, no hot choices were available. But don’t let that stop you, this place is terrific!”

“Convenient location, just outside Petoskey. Little Traverse Wheelway runs nearby (currently right on the shoulder of us31). Beds are micro-foam mattresses , takes a little getting used to. Overall very nice. ”

“This was a clean hotel room, nicely positioned in the beach with a view of Lake Huron and the bridge. It is a bit too busy of a road to walk down to the business district . The pool area had the big water slides shut down now for at least a year, I know this because it was down last year as well. ”
