“A very pleasant surprise. This is a very 'value-centric' place to lay your head. Very clean, accommodating check in process, Close to all needed stuff (food, gas, etc). Proximity to Burt Lake State Park is great! It is a bit noisy in the morning due to existing on a main road - not the Owners' fault. Not disappointed in the least. ”

“Love this property for its cozy, historic ambiance and the beautiful views. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only thing I would change is the dining options. The Rose room is wonderful for breakfast and it would be great if you could have a nice dinner there as well. The Noggin room is fun in its own way but not exactly a dining destination.”

“The staff were so welcoming. There were 3 of them. All wonderful people. We chatted like old friends. In the morning Kristina was making coffee in the library/TV/Game room. We talked while she made 2 full containers of coffee. They all had recommendations and wanted to hear about our day when we came back.”

“Only negative is the vehicles that stop at the stop sign. About 80% of them have to rev the engine or take off flooring it, you guys ain't that bad! Annoying.”

“Nice inexpensive hotel. Kind staff. Basic clean hotel room. Dated decor in public spaces. Shower curtain unfortunately did not stay inside the shower curb and water always puddled on bathroom floor. The inside of the bathroom door is deteriorating because of this. I would stay here again.”
