“Characterful old building with cosy fires”

“We had an amazing weekend at the Fish and Anchor Inn and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a relaxed and value for money getaway while visiting Stratford or the Cotswolds. As it's an inn we checked in at the bar, then accessed the room via a separate entrance at the rear of the pub. The pub does karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, and the patrons are very welcoming. Our room, no. 6, was amazingly large and inviting, and we loved the firm bed mattress. As mentioned in the hotel……

“Hotel has only been opened five weeks so it is immaculate. The staff are very friendly and so customer service was superb. I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough - they are aiming for a Michelin star and are definitely not that far away from achieving it - get there quickly before it becomes hard to book!”

“This lovely old building on the centre of Broadway is full of character and history . For those who are looking for air con, instant internet etc it probably is not for you but for the rest of us who like quirky, individual and very English it a 10. 2 best points are the staff who are quiet frankly brilliant, helpful, kind , funny and friendly and efficient. And the food which is great , the Grill serves unpretentious good dinners , reasonably priced wines and superb puddings . The breakfast……

“Our bedroom was tastefully decorated and clean. It was a spacious room, with a good ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, with nice bedding. The breakfast menu was exrensive, with some great options. Our food was well cookwd and tasty. All of the hotel.staff were friendly, professional and helpful”

“We stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. We booked a twin room. The room was very small but clean with a lovely en-suite shower room attached. the beds were very comfortable. We arrived early so while we waited for our room to be ready we ordered a BLT double toasted sandwich which we both shared, it was delicious. There was plenty of parking in the car park outside.
