"Property is located up a very steep slope. Would be a workout to lug your baggages up if u are not driving. I am impressed with the cleanliness but disappointed with the staff service. No extra pillow available when requested."
"Well. A very new motel style hotel. Nice staff. Really good breakfast. Great room, great bathroom. But, it is in the middle of no-where. In the middle of a rice paddy to be precise. Which I could admire from my balcony. Plus was it was very quiet. I was riding round Taiwan. I guess the location would not be a problem if I had a car. The location made it a little hard to find too. There is a convenience store about 200m away."

"Great Lake views with space room for the family of 4. The breakfast buffet was also excellent! The offered free bikes to cycle around the lake. They also have lots of entertainments for kids. It’s definitely a good resort for family vacation. "
"A truly elegant property with an incredibly gracious staff — we were treated like royalty from the moment we checked in. The view of Sun Moon Lake from our suite (3F), overlooking the resort’s beautiful 60-meter pool, was absolutely spectacular. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout the room and the property, made from some of the most expensive wood in Taiwan, and as a technical clarification, the bed in our room was unquestionably a King, not the Queen listed in Expedia. We actually extended our stay for a fourth night and really enjoyed our time on Sun Moon Lake. We very highly recommend both Sun Moon Lake and The Lalu!"
"They made an effort to check on your estimated arrival time and upon arrival, I’m greeted with great smiles and hospitality. Welcome drink is nice too. I got the panoramic view room which is excellent. And breakfast was served in room to let me enjoy the nice view. Grohe shower set is just some of the things u know they value about. Parking is also available and it’s just mins away from lots of eating places. Well maintained and definitely worth every penny "
