Our unit, Villa Elia, seemed to be the oldest of the units, built within a former olive mill. It was very comfortable but a little dark for our taste. The other two units were brighter and newer, and we’d like choose one of those next time. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work during our stay but was supposed to get fixed soon."

"Villa Andromeda is exactly how it looks in the pictures and how the other reviewers have described. The road to and from the property is fine apart from a twenty metre section where you have to be especially careful - we managed fine in two normal front wheel drive manual hire cars for a party of eight. Robert has found a great team of hosts - led by Angelina who look after everything for you. They even went as far as improving that small part of the road leading to the villa for us! The location and the villa are truly amazing with the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen. There are plenty of lovely tavernas and restaurants nearby with lots of local supermarkets that are reasonably priced and stock so many options. So you can get the best of both worlds - complete solitude in the most beautiful setting or sample typical Greek traditional offerings. The old town in Chania is a must visit and we’d also recommend hiring a boat for half a day - we did both self drive and a captained private catamaran which were both awesome."
