Welcoming Hotel

We stayed here, as an old married couple for approx 2 months. You can't get any more convienant to an old school Bangkok neighborhood. Wongwian Yai is a great place to settle. Safe yet busy and fun. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. And, this is so important, and I'm so grateful for it, they brought us 2 bottles of water everyday! Thank you, all, for a safe and comfortable stay! Oh, the mattresses are very very firm, just fyi

The hotel is near by a local train station with extended market and a 7-11 nearby, so it is easy to get local foods or everyday items. Staffs are polite, friendly, and willing to help or doing room services; the guests may have to declare and keep on an eye on their needs. Llke, I found shower gel was empty and shampoo box was broken on the first night I arrived, though the counter staff came to refill the gel box immediately, the shampoo box was not fixed till I checked out. The traffic nearby was unstable smoothly because of road construction, so, if the guest were considering grabbing a car, they had better keep some time for uncertainty. Overall, it was a cozy hotel I would recommend if you are planning to visit the neighboring areas.

The hotel room was very clean and was good. However, the gym did not have decent equipment to do a workout if you are a regular gym goer. Dumbbells only go up to 12.5kg and the other equipment is a treadmill and a multifunctional lat pull down and chest press machine that is in poor condition. The location of the hotel is not great. Nothing around it, if you are a tourists looking for things to do. You’ll be the only tourist in the area and you won’t get the same vibe as staying close to the centre of Bangkok. The cleaning staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was sub-par

This place looked beautiful when I saw it online, but when I arrived, I realised that the area next door is actually a slum. The room itself is nice, but the walls are very thin — I could clearly hear the neighbour snoring while I was trying to sleep. Lastly, the room appeared tidy at first, but when I touched the headboard with my fingers, I noticed it wasn’t clean.

Property is relatively low budget, so for what you pay it’s OK. You can get better in Bangkok for similar or slightly higher room rate. I knew this ain’t going to be a luxurious hotel, but was still disappointed with the room. The bed wasn’t comfortable, room was small, and bathroom/shower was tiny and felt it wasn’t well maintained. Bathroom made me want to look for a different hotel. I booked two nights but only stayed one. Reception team was very friendly and helpful. Some receptionists speak better English than others.

Le point positif de cet hôtel sa proximité avec le métro. Sinon passez votre chemin, il y a bien mieux à Bangkok dans cette fourchette de prix. Le lit est extrêmement inconfortable, dormir sur une planche en bois serait une bonne comparaison et alors le personnel du petit déjeuner : catastrophique, ils ont oublié le sourire au vestiaire, le choix et la qualité également sont vraiment pas au niveau, on a eu bien mieux pour un hôtel entre 30/40 € à Bangkok. La réceptionniste de dimanche soir était elle vraiment très sympa et professionnelle, ça relève le niveau.

I think hotels.com and other website should update their information about this hotel. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel anymore. Maybe it was for 20 years ago. But they surely do need to totally renovate their rooms. The staff was of course service minded and nice. But thats not enough to get a 4 star rating. The hotel is hidden in an alley, the taxi deivers can't find the way to the hotel. Yes, its possible to walk to the BTS skytrain, but its like 15mins walk. Depends on how fast you walk in the heat. The room is quite small and stains and old scratch everywhere. On the pictures you see a nice pool. But its actually very small in real life. So if you would like to convenient trafel around to see Bangkok. This is not an ideal hotel to stay at.

Die Unterkunft ist mehr als okay, für diese Gegend und in dieser Preisklasse ( pro Nacht, € 32,- ohne Frühstück) Man bekommt jeden Tag je 2x Wasserflasche, Cafe, Tee, Zucker, Creamer, wenn man das Schild (cleaning room) an die Türe hängt. kleiner Balkon, Badezimmer mit Glastüre (aber zu klein für Übergewichtige Personen) Ohrensessel mit Fußteil Safe im Zimmer Haarföhn Klimaanlage Schwimmbecken, jedoch nicht benutzt Fitness, das nötigste vorhanden, nicht benutzt Gutes Englisch 24 Std. Rezeption Handtücher wurden 2x gewechselt, aber könnte man sicherlich öfters tauschen (man geht einfach zur Reinigungskraft) Das Zimmer ist wirklich sauber! - sehr, sehr harte Betten Laminatfussboden geht die Nut an ein paar vereinzelten Stellen auf Die Möbeln sind in einem gebrauchten Zustand, aber noch okay Cleaningroom sieht so aus, das jeden Tag die Mistkübeln geleert werden und gekehrt wird, aber nicht gewischt wird. Punkto dem Bett, es war wirklich sehr, sehr hart, jedoch haben wir an der Rezeption nach einer zusätzlichen Decke gefragt (für eine weitere Unterlage) und zuerst wollte die Dame 500,- Baht und da wir 8 Nächte gebucht hatten, haben wir diese Decke gratis für unseren kompletten Aufenthalt bekommen. Einfach hartnäckig bleiben und darauf bestehen und es als Kundenservice deklarieren!

Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück einfach aber für den sehr günstigen Preis absolut ok. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße und rundherum sind sehr einfache Wohnbauten. Stört aber gar nicht. Top, würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

建物は新しいけど、残念なポイントがいくつかありました。髪の毛がベッドに落ちてたり、シャンプーなどのアメニティが無かったり、朝食のスタート時間が遅くて量が少ない。他の部屋のドアの音もとてもうるさくて、夜に何回も起きました。スタッフの感じはまあまあでした。唯一良かったポイントはホテルあたりに住み着いている子猫達が可愛かっただけです。リピートはないかな〜。
