「The hotel is an old building so we understand the facilities have been improved to update with the modern life. There is a lift but there are about 10 -11 steps up and down before I could move my luggage into the room. There are 4 steps of staircase before I could use the bathroom.
I had an accident on my first night stay 21 May 2026 2:40 a.m., I sprained my right ankle. I could not manage to go to the hospital with only one leg. I was so grateful the staff on duty on 21 May, came and helped...

「Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful. I stayed in the old wing and the renovation is perfect. Clean and with a touch of the old British style. We had dinner at the restaurant and everything tasted nice except it is a bit salty for us.」

「A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views.
Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through.
Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty.
The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you.」
