“Overall not bad. The hotel was built a long time ago. Even though you took the lift, there were still many stairs to go if you were assigned to the 3rd floor. I checked out the hotel on 5/21 morning. The black girl at the front desk was not very helpful.”

“The room was compact but clean and comfortable; however its position on the ground floor at the front of the hotel meant that the busy road was just a pavement width from the window and the road noise was loud, intrusive and constant. I expect the rooms at the rear of the hotel would offer a quieter experience. The food at the hotel’s restaurant over the road was good quality and value. “Dusty corridors due to construction works within the hotel. Rooms acoustic are poor, we had our room on the ground floor and could hear everything from the floor above, footsteps and conversations. Not ideal if you want to rest. Only large towel provided no face/hand towel. Heating system is sluggish, it took a few hours to get the room heated from 16° to 20°, electricic heater on the wall couldn't be used as it was dirty and emanated burnt smell when switched on.”
