“Beautiful and quaint resort with the friendliest staff and beautiful pool”

“Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back ”

“The location was south of the hustle- bustle of San Pedro and was very relaxing. Staff was very courteous and attentive to details. Prices were a little higher here than other places but were convenient.”

“When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. ”

“My friend and I booked a stay at “Muna” guest house for this stay. The house was very beautiful and had all amenities you would need! However, when booking, it did not seem to specify in an obvious way that this house would be off of the resort (about a 3-5 minute walk) so this surprised us. Even though it is off the resort you still can use all resort amenities though. Other than that, the guest house was clean, quiet, and beautiful with tons of birds and wildlife around. ”

“The Resort was lovely. Jungle atmosphere, variety or birds and monkeys in the trees around the property. Fantastic room, staff friendly and helpful with events, restaurant delicious and pool serene. Great bar. ”

“There are no words for this place. The food was amazing and the resort is beautiful. Everyone made the trip unforgettable. Melanie was so incredible even before i arrived. The mood mud massage was the most unique spa treatment ever. Do not pass that up. Every detail was perfect. We literally never wanted to leave.. they dont treat you like a guest. From the moment you arrive you feel amazing. I cannot say thank you enough! ”
