Our group of two families had a wonderful stay. Note that the beach is not swimmable on this side of the island!”

“The well water is polluted with sargassum, which contains toxic substances. According to the NIH, Rotting Sargassum seaweed releases toxic gases, primarily hydrogen sulfide (\(H_{2}S\)) and ammonia (\(NH_{3}\)), which cause respiratory, skin, and neurological issues. Additionally, the seaweed accumulates heavy metals like arsenic and cadmium, making it unsafe for consumption or use as food/fertilizer. It smells so awful as to induce gagging. The washer wasn't working for most of my visit,……

“First and foremost. Cora, Johnny and their crew were amazing!!! They made sure everything was set for us. Cora was exceptional every time I had a question or concern and she was right on top of all issues. And Jorge was there every day cleaning the pool and making sure everything was looked after at the house when we had said issues. Johnny and Victor are wonderful with all the excursions. They all are top notch and very caring individuals. We had a few concerns regarding the brown/black power……

“this gorgeous place felt like our own private island as there was no one renting the house next to us. Very quiet and peaceful seeing as how you are only a 4 minute boat ride away from the hustle of the heart of San Pedro. Sam our host met us at the tropic air terminal and helped us get settled in as we go there. The private dock in town is close to almost everything except to secret beach. So for an outing you really need a golf cart unless you're there to hang with the locals then all you……

There were great activities available, and overall it made for a fantastic vacation experience. “All around amazing! The location, house, warm and hardworking staff, meals prepared by Juan were delicious, pool, beach, ocean toys, views, etc. was just as perfect as shown in the photos. Well equipped house and the suites were luxurious and comfortable. Loved the location, easy to drive from Belize City and had fun trips through Captain Jak's in Placencia while still relaxing and enjoying all the amenities The Golden Spot offers.
