“Loved the ‘Olde Worlde’ charm and history of the Inn, The only minor fault was that there were no leaflets of surrounding places of interest to visit. However we would would highly recommend This property. Thank you.”

“Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

“A very warm welcome from Caroline to a beautiful house overlooking the surrounding countryside and near the church. Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants.”

“Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.”

“There,was only one lift for the whole hotel which was,a really old one and only held 4 people.Our room was,not cleaned or wet towels replaced until we complained of tea tray filled up or bin empties.We had to complain on three r Occasions.There,were no bed side lights so if you got out in the night you had,to fumble for a switch.So had,to buy a torch ,.a A notice said it bathroom floor gets set it is,slippery.Surely bathroom flooring should be slip proof.Bathroom was cramped with a ridiculous……

“We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! ”
