「The room was spotless and had a great view over the river to Nora Battys house. Full English breakfast was excellent as always . All staff very friendly and helpful. This is our 5th time staying here and will definitely be back . Thank for another great night Elephant and Castle team :)」

「Arrived to a warm welcome, supplied with all information required and reassured there was 24 hour cover should it be needed. The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything required. We were able to alter the heating to suit ourselves, making our stay very comfortable. The ensuite had ample big fluffy towels and luxury toiletries. We even had a yellow rubber duck. Breakfast was great...a substantial menu but happily did just scrambled for myself and baked beans for my husband. Also...

「Parking was a nightmare but soon sorted out. Service was above and beyond, owner driving around until he found a fish and chip shop open and bringing us back a lovely meal. Super breakfast with lots of choice.」

「The room was small but that's what I booked, it was clean and loads of hot water to the shower. The breakfast was really nice, well cooked with a good size portion. Well done to all, keep up your high standards.」

「The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle. Breakfast in the morning was decent and you are within 25 mins of York. All in all a great trip and we will 100% stay here again. 」
