「The people that run the hotel are very lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is in a very good location to many of the sights of Blackpool. I would stay there again.」

「Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. 」

「Beds are cozy, clean & tidy. Free car park, staffs are nice. Everything is good. Brilliant!」

「This is our second time staying here. I like the overall feel of the apartment; the decor, bay windows. The sofa was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. We couldn’t sit on it for any period of time. This has taken a star off the rating. That plus some drunken people wandering the building in the early hours being very loud and swearing. Not something you want when you pay to stay in a nice place with your kids and lots of other families around. I would stay again but only if...

「We were welcomed with a smile, checked in shown our room. The room was compact but had everything we needed our own bathroom unlike many Blackpool guest houses, plenty of tea and coffee. Next time we come to Blackpool we will be trying to book this again Many thanks guys」

「Yes it was dated as other reviews have said, but it was clean and the service was friendly and helpful. Great value for money! 」

「The St Ives is a really family friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids entertainment was very good. If I had one critique it would be that the £9 charge for a kids meal is quite expensive for a two year old. Maybe under 5’s should eat for less? It didn’t spoil our break though. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. 」

「We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. 」
