"The room was clean and tidy and represented good value for money. Weekend car parking was free and check in and check out was speedy. The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very good. Bar food and drinks represented good value for money/ There were no boathooks in the room which could have been a problem during wet weather. There was also nowhere in the bathroom to hang wet swimwear. There were insufficient wrist bands available for the pool area meaning we did not have locker access and had to take our belongings poolside."

"room was lovely and modern, unfortunately was a long walk to the room due to renovation works across the entire floor. Location was great, easy to get to the NEC from there with uber. Food was low point, very expensive and honestly the steak looked like a small burger in size and the mushy peas on the fish and chips looked like a snot smear on the bottom of the plate. Ended up eating elsewhere for rest of stay. "

"The accommodation is of a good standard and everything was clean, efficient and well maintained the staff were very helpful and friendly. Security was good and the on-site parking, monitored by an external company, was available whenever we needed it. We are very pleased to have made the booking and would do so again when we next say in Shirley."

"This is easily one of the best places we have stayed so far. The rooms were impeccably clean and featured massive en suite bathrooms with fantastic showers. The facilities are top-notch, including a great lounge, an on-site club, and a dedicated children’s swimming pool. ​For those traveling for work, it’s an ideal spot for business trips—the dedicated meeting rooms come fully equipped with every setup you might need. To top it all off, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!"

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn with plenty of ice. Room was ok - nothing spectacular."

"Everything was spot on. Lovely lady greeted us and also looked after us at breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the staff were lovely there too, so was the food. My only grumble is we did ring and ask to be near the lift as we struggle to use stairs They said there was no lift which we took to mean it was all ground floor. It's not. Still that was just a mix up with communication. We would stay there again. The stairs were not too bad and it's worth a little struggle to stay in a cozy hotel"

"Easy parking Did not use spa Owners away so could not get breakfast in but they recommended a cafe just down the road Was a bit unsure about the front door being unlocked but apparently most hotels and B & Bs do that nowadays Lovely place"
