「Whoever is rating this hotel as 5star has never stayed in a 5 star hotel before. The staff and the food were excellent however the hotel is under renovation and it's an ongoing construction site with many disruptions and work being carried out throughout the hotel The finishing works of the renovation is not 5 start quality, far from it. The vibe is nice around the place but it is not a high end establishment.」

「The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room, only in the restaurant and reception areas, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. When we arrived there was one area through which everyone had to walk to access other areas of the hotel, which had a large pallet loaded with what seemed to be large boxes of machinery. 「The staff at Manzara Boutique Hotel welcomed us profusely, even though we arrived very late at night. Our room was upgraded, to a gorgeous apartment with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the Agean sea, the majestic castle making it picturesque and relaxing. Breakfast was tasty with fresh fruit, local yogurt, salad, local cheeses and cured meats, eggs to order. Seating was fabulous, again, with sea view. The walk in to Bodrum down the hill was quick and easy, less so the walk back...
