“We booked the best suite in the hotel—a lake-view room. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, the ceiling tiles were damaged. The AC was extremely loud, like a helicopter landing each time it started. The bedsheets and pillows smelled moldy. Thankfully it was just one night, but I won’t stay in Lakeland again. Tampa and Orlando have better options. It’s farther from where I needed to be that day, and I couldn’t sleep all night. The lobby was nice and well maintained. The hotel rooms, however,……

“Every year my kids participate in the State Science Fair. We have stayed in many different hotels for this and this one was the nicest and most convenient. You can't be closer to the RP Funding Center, and you can walk into the super cute downtown area if you want.”

“The room was, as always, clean and stocked with adequate bath linens, soap, and shampoo. The staff were cordial and helpful. This is an older motel in need of updating, but if you're on a budget and not looking for luxuries, this is a good choice.”

“Here’s how you can put that together: First, the hotel has no Wi-Fi, which prevents me from using my laptop to handle tomorrow’s work. Second, the mattress still has a plastic cover on it that hasn’t been removed. It’s just a thin sheet on top, and when I lie down, it feels damp and clammy. Every time I turn over, the plastic makes a loud noise, which really affects my sleep quality.”

“The room itself smelled like stale smoke, HOWEVER, the view was amazing! We were assigned a room on the lake and it was so lovely. The lake was full of more birds than I had ever seen (egrets, ibises, heron, ducks). The front desk professional was nice and helpful. The room was large. For a cheap hotel, we got our money's worth. If not for the lake and birds, I would have probably thought that it was a kinda crappy hotel but cheap for the price. The stunning scenery made it 5 stars……

“Breakfast”

“My fiance and I enjoyed our stay here. The place felt safe, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, had a mini fridge, TV, there was a ice machine on our floor, and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was good. Also, the air conditioning was fantastic! I like to sleep in an igloo and that AC has the capabilities and definitely delivered. Oh, and there is a decent Applebee's next door to the hotel that is in literal walking distance. I can't remember what time we got there but I……

“Breakfast was very bland. Everyday the same thing. Cold hard boiled eggs and sausages, cereal, oatmeal packets and stale bread.”

“It was great for the one night I was there. Right next to a big mall with lots of restaurants and a movie theater. Room was great and the helpful front desk staff were very friendly. I didn’t love the smell of the room. Not smoky, just didn’t like the smell of the cleanser. It was too strong. Other than that it was a perfect day.”

“At check in we had an issue with the room and front desk helped me with the situation. I was moved inmediately to another. The staff was very helpful and friendly.”

The only thing I could say was wrong was a water pressure in the shower. And yes you're close by the road so you have to hear some noise.”
