The Address Wren

The Address Wren

8/10 Good
"I was quite anxious about staying here after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. This is a new hotel so everything is newly renovated. My room was large and stylishly decorated, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was also good, a self-serve choice of croissants, hot drinks, cold meats, cheese, juice and cereal with yoghurt. There were however a few negatives. The room was very warm and there is no air conditioning. I left the windows open but the location above Central Station meant it was noisy as you can hear the train announcements below. The location is very central but the area felt quite rough and the entrance to the hotel is not welcoming, you have to call reception and punch in a code to get in then go up in a lift. The entrance hall does not match the feel of the hotel and there was nowhere to leave luggage. I would choose the other Address hotel in Glasgow over this one, at least until it has settled a little"
