“Pictures do not do this cabin justice! So clean, plenty of kitchen and grill supplies. Extra coffee, TP, paper towels, you name it. We were so pleasantly surprised. The property is beautiful, quiet and remote. Everything was perfect for our group. Cornhole, and ping pong included. Nothing to improve in my opinion, it was the perfect weekend. Just a heads up that my Mustang even made it to this remote cabin, but I would not dare drive that car here other than a dry summer day. The Mustang never……

“This property exceeded my expectations in every way. I was attending a conference at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and needed what I called a Fortress of Solitude to decompress after very long days. It was conveniently close, had everything I needed, was QUIET and secluded, and looked like I had decorated it myself. I love that part of the proceeds from the rental go to support the charter Christian school on its grounds. Excellent property; highly recommend.”

“Overall great. Everything needed was there. I will say the hot tub had a bit of "ring around the tub" towards the back. I just used some paper towels to wipe it. Not a real issue at all. Would stay again. ”

“Everything we needed quiet and relaxing”

“The cabin was really nice . Does need better frying pans. The main bathroom drain was slow draining. The yard was very nice. Was close to things to do”

“For senior siblings went to a pow wow at Mohican reservation but stayed at the dove cottage. The place was very nice and had all the utensils we needed. The manager in charge Michelle was very sweet and helpful.”

“If you have a student at Kenyon College, this is a great place to stay. Very close to KC with the conveniences of Mt Vernon. Property was clean and easily accessible. The bathroom is tiny- can’t image sharing it with 4 people but it worked for 2 of us. Wish we had known about it before this graduation trips-would have definitely stayed here more often.”

“This property is well off the beaten path. Most times, you can’t hear any human activity; just birds, insects and the breeze in the trees. It has a spacious kitchen and living area, and comfortable beds. Stay here if you’re looking for peace and quiet and don’t mind driving 20 minutes to get supplies. The host is very communicative as well. We really enjoyed it!”
