Angela at the pool and Pasquo at the buffet were absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. Elizabeth the host was also wonderful and very welcoming. The food exceeded expectations, the atmosphere was perfect, and the swim-out room was incredible. Everyone at the resort was friendly and made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back.

Cant say enough about Breathless. All three couples struggled to find any problems at all.
Rooms were clean and well attended; staff consistently asked if we needed anything and were always smiling.
Events and entertainment were well attended....many activities and shows to attend.
At least six different restaurants to choose from and all meals were execellent.
The only thing we would have changed was the DJ music at both pools; WAY to clubby and loud with no one dancing except the paid staff. DJ did not read the crowd and it made socializing sometimes a chore. Even the 'quiet' pool had pounding dance music starting around lunchtime....not necessary.

Disgusting experience at Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa.
My Rolex was stolen from my room after housekeeping entered my room. I took it off before going to the pool around 11:00 AM, placed it inside my zipped jewelry bag, and returned around 2:30 PM to find it missing. My room had been cleaned during that exact time frame.
I reported it immediately, and instead of acting with urgency or concern, management gave excuses, offered zero solutions, and treated me like the problem. They hid behind “protocol” and implied that because it was not in the safe, somehow theft from my room is acceptable.
Manager George was especially disgraceful—he offered no help, no accountability, then walked away and refused to speak with me while I was dealing with a serious theft.
This resort clearly cares more about protecting staff and avoiding responsibility than protecting paying guests. If something valuable is stolen from your room, don’t expect honesty, urgency, or competent management.
A luxury resort with bargain-basement security and even worse leadership. Stay elsewhere.

Excellent adults only facility with a beautiful pool area. We had the room with swim out and xhale club and the service was very personalized. All the staff including restaurants went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Favorite restaurants were French, Mexican and steakhouse.

Excellent séjour! Dès notre arrivée, le service a été impeccable et les suivis tout au long du séjour ont été très appréciés. Le service au restaurant était remarquable et la nourriture absolument délicieuse. Un merci spécial au restaurant Bayt pour le matin et le midi, ainsi qu’à Edgar pour son excellent service. Nous avons aussi adoré le restaurant français. Le buffet offre une belle variété pour tous les goûts.
À noter que la plage comporte beaucoup d’algues, mais là où nous étions, le personnel a fait de beaux efforts d’entretien, ce qui nous a permis de profiter d’une eau vraiment belle deux jours sur trois. Le spa étais exceptionelle!!
Service 1A, nous nous sommes sentis très bien traités du début à la fin. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

overall an amazing resort! the staff were so friendly and the bar tensors made sure you always had a great day at the pools! the housekeeping was amazing and always made the room look clean and fresh. the food was okay at the restraints but the burger at the pool grill on the xcelerate side was TO DIE FOR! the only issue i had was the entitled personalities of some of the people that were guests there. on the xhale side of the hotel people were very rude about saving seats over night and for hours on end without them showing up until late morning or even late afternoon. Some thing could have been done on the staff’s end as they could have removed towels that were there with no personal item for over an hour without people at the chairs. there were also Mexican vendors there in the middle of the resort that i thought we would have stayed away from by not traveling down to other parts of cancun as i felt very pressured and uncomfortable walking through the resort that night since they always pulled you in to look at their carts. other than that no complaints! :)

We loved Breathless. Ate at all the specialty restaurants and enjoyed the food. We skipped the buffet for lunch/dinner per others recommendations and did the à la carte style options instead. Breakfast buffet was good though— smoothie station, omelets/breakfast sandwiches to order. Diego did a couples photo shoot for us and was wonderful. We did Jesus’s guacamole class and a water aerobics (can’t remember the instructor) that were fun! The shows were great, we went to Couples Challenge and Queen in the Show Stopper and saw Asado by the pool. Silent disco really gets people up dancing and was more fun than expected! We also did casino night and had fun. Loved the endless options of entertainment! Visited the spa for massage with Raquel and hydrospa, worth a visit! Beach was pretty some days and not others but pool was always fun. Only thing we didn’t love was we booked ocean view and could not see the ocean from our excelerate room 6305.

The room was beautiful. Food was excellent. All the staff members were so nice and helpful. The entertainment was entertaining. The pools were clean. The only downside was our swim up pool was cold which made it pretty much unusable.
