We had a great experience on our girl's trip. The check in & check out service was quick and easy. The room was clean. We loved that we could request more waters, beers, towels, whatever we needed in our room from the app. The service at the bars was great. Friendly staff. We only had a few days here, so we didn't do any excursions or leave the resort. Everything we needed for a few days was there. We just bounced from the pool to the beach every day and the water slides were fun. We traveled without our kids, so we liked that most of the time we weren't around any. One of the pools was more family oriented and the other was the adults drinking. Restaurants & buffets were good. The only slip up was one of the service restaurants took FOREVER one of the nights we had dinner. (they said they were understaffed that night) We were seated at the table probably 2.5 hours and many people kept leaving because the wait to get food, drinks, & service was very long.

Stayed at Riu Dunamar recently and overall it was just okay. The rooms were decent, but they don’t offer queen beds which was a bit inconvenient. You can also hear everything through the walls. We could hear people next to us talking and babies crying all night, which made it hard to sleep. The food was hit or miss. The steakhouse didn’t match the photos at all, and the chocolate dessert had a strong fridge taste. It’s definitely kid friendly, which is great for families. However, the pools could use more frequent cleaning. At one point there was even a hot dog floating in the pool, which wasn’t a great experience. Also, the water park is closed every Monday, which is something to keep in mind when planning. It was a nice trip overall, but not somewhere I would personally return to.

It was such a clean room. Every single staff member was very welcoming and attentive. The poolside was amazing, they were cleaning up every chance they had as well. The beach was amazing and the massage was exactly what i needed had to go back for seconds.

Si tienen la oportunidad de ir no vayan!! El Personal si no les ofreces propina son 0 atentos, todos los restaurantes abren y cierran temprano e inclusive en el buffet te retiran el plato a media mordida desde 20 min antes de que cierren si no acabas de comer (me lo quitaron el plato a medio bocado) los bar tender son súper groseros la comida del sport bar tu mismo la tienes que calentar y no es de buena calidad y en cuanto a las bebidas la verdad ninguna la preparan con alcohol de calidad ni saben buenas

We had a great time at Riu Dunamar! It was our first time there for spring break. The whole family had a great time! We ranged in age between 7-50 years. The water park was great for all ages. There was multiple pools at the property, some are for adults only but most were for the entire family. They had pool activities which added some action and entertainment to the day. There was night events that included adults and the young ones as well which was great! There are a variety of restaurants plus a buffet that changed the type of food daily. The food was good, everyone was satisfied! They offered water excursions for an additional charge. We did a couple of them, they added some fun to our stay! They have an app for the resort that shows the restaurants with their menus and times. Daily activities schedule and attire requirements and suggestions. They have a gift shop on sight which is very expensive, if decide to purchase something from their make sure to have a credit card handy as they don't charge anything to the room. The resort is not close to anything which we were fine with since there was enough activities on sight. They do offer airport transportation that you have to arrange a week in advance but it is not offered if you book through Expedia, it's only offered if you book directly through them. Overall stay was a great time, I definitely recommend it!

Overall the property was nice and well maintained. What was really disappointing to us was the food. We were surprised to see multiple restaurants with buffet style offerings, the grill by the pools had cold hot dogs / hamburgers and overall the food was OK. This should be an area that shines at resorts and this was a weakness at RIU Dunamar.

The experience was great all the way around! I went for spring break with the family and there was plenty for all to do. The food was great and staff in all areas were so polite and friendly. Plenty of activities during the day and shows in the evening. There were scheduled events every day if you wanted more to do than just relaxing the pool or beach. I’d 100% recommend!

Flies kept flying around in the buffet restaurant. The swimming pool is clean, and the slides are fun. There are many events, and the nightly parties and events create noise. It’s not a suitable place for a quiet vacation. The room is too small for a family of four.

This was our first all inclusive. The resort was well maintained and room was serviced often. Definitely a child friendly resort, so many evening activities at the main stage for them and not to mention the water slide park.

Nightly entertainment could use some improvements. Overall enjoyed the vibe, not overly rowdy- our preference. We had a party of 17 and with restaurants serving on a first come first serve basis, we were worried, however absolutely no issues. Pleasently surprised! Drink services at the pool and beach were somewhat slow, but not terrible. Tipping helped!

We traveled for family vacation on a spring break. Once we came resort was overbooked and they asked us to move to another Riu Venture. Riu Ventura was not bad but not for kids. They have a lot adults only activities and it’s hard to explain kids why they don’t do face painting to kids, only adults who will go for night party to a different resort. We asked to do face painting for kids but they said they can’t . Don’t understand even now why it’s so hard to do couple dots on kid’s face. Also they don’t clean beach at all. Food was good and restaurants good too.
