"I would say this feels more like a hostel than a hotel. The best part is its central location in Old San Juan. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We appreciated their recommendations for restaurants and parking lots. The complimentary drinks at the bar and rooftop are nice perks. The lobby is nice. However, our room was disappointing and left much to be desired. It was interior (standard) room so it’s only windows opened into the hallway. The room was dark with yellow, flickering lights. The mini fridge sits directly on the floor. The towels were very worn and a discomforting grayish color. The floors felt and looked unclean. The rooftop views were lovely but the seating felt half hazard and in disrepair. There were leaks in the hallways. I think this hotel has a lot of potential but would benefit from some updates and cleaning."

"This is the perfect place to stay in Old San Juan. It is in the middle of everything, and is beautiful and comfortable in every way. We especially loved having coffee each morning outside on the terrace over-looking the park. "

"Yes it was cool in room and easy parking. This is a very nice motel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bring your own toiletries and hand rowels. Walls are super thin and there is a basic bedroom door lock on room doors. Facility was safe and there is a security lock on exterior main door. "

"Hotel Rumbao was so beautiful and in the perfect location. It was very easy to navigate everywhere in Old San Juan from the hotel. The room was very clean and all of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our window view was great! The pool was on the top floor and was a little crowded but we got a chance to enjoy it and the hot tub."
