"The room and the hotel were exceedingly clean and met our needs in every way. The staff were exceptional caring for all our needs, polite, helpful and always available. The food was of a very high standard and the presentation was so inviting. We had dinner in the hotel on a couple of nights and were delighted by the selection and quality. The pool was very inviting but we just too busy to be able to take advantage of this facility. We will definitely return!!"

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind. Very nice facility with a lovely garden in the back and very comfortable common rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety. We ate several evening meals here and they were as good as any restaurant in the area. The Chef works very hard to optimize flavor and presentation. The location is almost adjacent to Victor Hugo‘s house. It was a warm day during our first evening and the hotel was able to supply us with a fan. If you’re a senior, the climb to the hotel can be tedious. Other than that, the location is good with quick access to the bus station. We really enjoyed this hotel!"

"Every room has a stunning view. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are modern. The buffet breakfast is very good and you can even order off the menu. Location is great; the bus to town is just a short walk away. We really loved the hotel. I have a couple of caveats: there is no elevator, and lots of steps, so not the hotel for someone with mobility issues. There is no air conditioning (usual in Jersey), but even during the heatwave we were able to keep our balcony door open to let in the breeze and had no problem with bugs. The staff are all terrific, but occasionally they are understaffed so service may be a bit slow. My only complaint is that one evening we were treated to live entertainment for dinner. The trio was excellent, but I would have preferred simply sitting on the terrace, enjoying the view and the sunset and being able to converse with my companions. I definitely recommend Cristina Hotel and Jersey."

"The hotel is needing money spent on it, to refresh the offering. The car park and the front gardens are poor - "the shop window and welcome" disappoint. It was adequate for the purpose but no means startlingly good, the name Savoy conjured up likeness with others so named. But a fail there. Other hotels in the locality so has lots to do to win me back!"

"The first room we stayed in was on level 5 it had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. We were told that the hotel was full so we couldn’t move to another room. The window was very small and only opened a few inches. We asked again 2 days later and were given another fan. However, it just blew the hot air around very noisily. After not being unable to sleep on the fourth day we asked again about another room and we moved to a room on the first floor with really quite and effective air conditioning. Neither of the rooms had a fridge and both had windows that only opened a few inches. However, half way through our stay we were told we could sign a safety form and the windows could be then fully opened. On our last day we heard that we could have requested a fridge. Surely all rooms should have air conditioning and a small fridge. These things sadly spoiled our stay in a 4 star hotel with an excellent spa and restaurant"
