“Hotel de France exceeded my expectations. I could not fault any part of my stay. My single room was clean, airy and had a very comfortable bed. There were a lot of windows so was very light and it had fine net curtains so still felt very private. There was an air conditioning unit to use but I did not need it as I prefer fresh air through windows. I used the restaurant once for lunch and two evening meals. Food, like all Jersey, was high quality and delicious. All staff whether in restaurant,……

“We never tired of the view and although it's elevated position means a short trundle up a hill if you're on foot, it's well worth it and not at all strenuous. The food is excellent and the hotel is very comfortable.”

“Great location - 10 min walk from central St Helier however just far away enough from the town centre to avoid all the noise. The staff were excellent, couldn't fault the breakfast, relaxing pool area which is illuminated at night, very comfortable bar with live music and a large free car park. The only criticism is that the rooms could do with updating. Saying that, however, the rooms were well equipped and everything worked.”

“Neat, tidy and spacious rooms with free full breakfast provided. In view that there is no air-conditioning in the room and guests must open the windows to get fresh air, the only drawback is that the windows are not fitted with mosquito screens.”
