Zanzibar Chapwani Island Hotels

"Everything about the hotel is just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. If I find myself in Zanzibar again, it would be the hotel I would stay in again."

"Nice friendly staff"

"The staff tried to scam us for breakfast. The receptionist that checked us in was nice and friendly. The men that cleaned did a good job, but be aware of other staff, as they will mock you and speak badly of you right in front of your face, very disrespectful. Impossible to find space at the pool, it’s also very loud and chaotic at all times. The food was mostly old would not recommend to stay here. "

"Great place to stay, I just wished there were more places to eat and relax outside of the property"

"In historic building with very unique and charming rooms. Service was outstanding. They werr able to arrange several reasonably priced tours and transfers."

"It is nice to stay there."

"A wonderful eco resort! Cute bungalow's with compost toilets. We slept with all the windows and doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze. staff and food fantastic. Good snorkelling. Coconut crab night walk was fascinating. We climbed up the lighthouse and walked around the island on low tide - saw heaps of starfish and crabs! We also relaxed in the swinging day beds and read our books. 4 nights was a lovely amount of time if you can…but lots just came for 1 night."

"Beautiful and charming place, great location with AC, WiFi and breakfast. Highly recommend."

"Nice location with only steps to the water front, restaurants, boats to prison island and the Freddie Mercury museum. Breakfast was lovely and staff super friendly and helpful."

"The property is attractive and well maintained; the staff were kind and helpful. I would recommend a stay there Duane"

"Wonderful place !"

"Spice Palace Hotel was a great place to stay in Stone Town. The breakfast was better than I expected (omelette served, location was center of Stone Town, staff was very helpful and price was great. My only complaint was that the pool could have been warmer. I would stay here again. Stayed 5 nights."

"Really good value for money, location is good and staff were very friendly."

"The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."
