Overall the property was fine. The remote for the garage door was missing and the dryer was not working properly. The dryer created the bigger issue needing to wash towels so everyone could shower daily.

This rental has good potential but fell short on a few important details. Listing says it sleeps 7. There are two queen beds with trundle beds under them. Very cramped quarters while using these beds to sleep all of us. Lock code never worked correctly, we were given a substitute code that worked but only after waiting two times to get in the door with all of our belongings in our hands. The building and rental have a very old smell. I would suggest air fresheners in the unit. Kitchen and bathroom were nice. I would suggest keeping coffee filters and an actual useful spatula in the kitchen. The tv in the living room never worked correctly even after resetting the WiFi and resetting the tv per instructions from the host. Pretty disappointing experience with not much support from the host.

The property itself was as described, but unfortunately our overall experience was very negative due to serious communication and access issues with the host. When we returned to the property after being out for the day, the door code provided did not work. We called the host multiple times but received no answer and left voice mails with the urgency of the situation. VRBO support provided another code, which also did not work, leaving us locked out late in the evening. As a result, we had to find alternate accommodations at an additional expense.The following morning, the host finally answered my call and gave us yet another code. That code did work, allowing us to retrieve our belongings and vehicle (which was locked in the garage with the keys inside the apartment). However, the original code still did not work. Since that point the host has not responded to emails, messages through the VRBO app, or phone calls, and has been unwilling to work with us toward any resolution.While the property itself may be fine, the lack of reliable access, extremely poor communication, and refusal to address the situation made this stay unacceptable.

Nice and clean, location is perfect. Easy street parking and walkable to public transportation. Check in was easy.
