Welcome to the Cool Cascade Chalet!

Relax at this funky and spacious cabin close to Colorado Springs. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Our chalet also has a hot tub, grill, game room, and more. At the base of Pikes Peak Highway, this cabin offers the classic Colorado experience. This is a perfect spot to unwind after a day enjoying everything the area has to offer like Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, or Pike's Peak.

Over all the house is okay, just some things that we would suggest.The back porch was not clean at all the chair all over the place it look like need sweeping.The hot tub was not as clean and we couldNever figure out how to work it, I asked but my message was ignored and that was the main reason we booked this place.We would suggest more light outside and more privacy on the living room, everything could be seen from the outside specially at night it might be calm neighborhood but it still felt kind off.

Review rating 4. Cons1. Safety- during our stay, the electricity in three areas kept tripping, and we had to continue to restart with the breaker. The front porch light did not work, and it was pitch black. I immediately reached out to the host, and did not hear back 10 hours later. The question I originally asked about the electricity was not addressed until two days later. The disposal to the kitchen sink did not work, and the water kept backing up into the sink. I let the host know of the issues, and she said she would send someone over. The problems were not addressed, no one came, and no communication. I reached back out to the host, she told me she did not send one because they are not allowed in the house if we are not there. She said she could send someone over if we were going to be there, I told her, we would until 3 pm. We were told one hour prior to 3 pm, that the host could not find someone, and she would refund us two nights. There were also electrical cords lying on the heat outlets from the flooring. Pros nice area, close to mountains. Nice gameroom, no heat in that room, bu nice and big. The hot tub was nice.

It was a beautiful stay, had everything we needed. However the upstairs bathroom hand soap and shower dispensers did not work. Other than that it was perfect, highly recommend!

Breath taking home! Close to everything we wanted in Colorado Sounds and a very short drive to everything else! Very clean very spacious ideal for just the two of us but we could have brought our family to! Definitely will revisit!

The house was very clean, hot tub was great, the host was very easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed during our stay. The driveway was challenging but we managed. Overall very happy with our stay.

We had a great stay! This was a wonderful place to come relax and have a good time after spending the day hiking and exploring the nearby towns. The hot tub was great and pretty clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We also really enjoyed the ping pong table and other games in the garage area. Overall, this was a great place to stay for the price.

We had a wonderful family vacation in Colorado and Manitou Springs, and this home was the perfect base for our stay. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood that’s close to all the main attractions, and we loved being able to walk the area nearly every day — there are lots of trails nearby and we even got to see some cool wildlife right in the front and back yards!The house itself was clean, cozy, and really well-decorated. Everyone commented on how comfortable their beds were. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, and even a nice variety of seasonings left by previous guests, which came in handy. The back deck and hot tub were so relaxing, and the swing was a favorite spot to unwind.Our dogs loved roaming the fully fenced yard — it was such a treat for them! The only small downside was that access to the backyard was either through gates that were a bit tricky to reach with leashes or through the master bedroom (which wasn’t our room).The host was incredibly kind and flexible when illness forced us to change our travel dates, and she was also great about allowing us to bring our dogs, which we really appreciated.Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The property felt peaceful and welcoming, and the location couldn’t have been better. Just note that the driveway really does require an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. We’d definitely stay here again!

So cute and great for families!

This place was adorable and our kids LOVED the game room. Communication with the host was great and the place was very clean. Very close to Pikes Peak and Santa's Workshop. It was perfect for us! Would absolutely stay here again.

The overall stay was nice! Perfect location for where we needed to be. The house was clean & spacious enough for us. The grandkids & adults enjoyed the game room! My only negative is the driveway. It was tricky. It could use some gravel which would make it easier for in & out.

Family Fun Getaway

This was our Christmas gift to our kids. We were at the property for four nights. We loved it. The game room was a hit with the kids and we spent a good portion of our time in the house playing ping pong, fuse ball, and arcade basketball tournaments. The house was a located in a picturesque neighborhood. The convenience to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs was super nice. We spent half a day in Manitou Springs at the penny arcade and just walking up and down Main Street, hitting up all the shops. This was a great experience, and a property we will probably come back to.

Good Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend it to others. The house met our needs with several kids and two families. The location was perfect for us to enjoy the zoo and Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed the games in the garage. It snowed a bit the day we arrived and froze over on the driveway so we could not get the minivan up the driveway until the following day when the ice melted so just be aware of that.The complaints we had were the hot tub did not stay a consistent temperature. And we struggled with the thermostat upstairs. It didn't seem to respond to us trying to change the temp so some days it was way too hot while others it was quite chilly.

Amazing stay

My group of friends had an amazing stay at the cabin! The location was perfect, a quiet and secluded neighborhood but very close driving to colorado springs and other cute mountain towns in the area. We loved the hot tub and being able to cook in the fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area! We didn't have any trouble with the driveway but I can see how it might be tough if it was snowing.
